Are you a Band 7 or an experienced Band 6 physiotherapist looking for an exciting, new challenge and a chance to take on team leadership responsibilities? We are looking for a dynamic, motivated individual to join our group of Band 7 AHP staff supporting a large, MDT community therapy service.
Maximising Independence is a rehabilitation and reablement team in Wandsworth comprising AHP therapists, support workers and administrators. It provides urgent and routine pathways to adults, working with them to regain / maximise their independence.
· Providing highly specialist physiotherapy care to a community based caseload.
· Carrying out robust triage of patients referred to the team to ensure their safety and optimal pathway allocation
· Providing clinical leadership and support to the AHP team to provide education and supervision of junior therapy staff, rehabilitation support workers and students.
· Supporting and deputising for the operational manager of the service
