Your Role
As the Head of Social Value, you'll be at the forefront of our transformative journey. Here's what you'll be doing:
Crafting Strategy: You'll create and lead our social value strategy, aligning it with the National Social Value Framework (TOMs). Your vision will drive positive change across our organization.
Collaboration: Building bridges is your forte. You'll collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including the Mitie Foundation, clients, suppliers, and community organizations. Together, we'll amplify the impact of our social value initiatives.
Innovation: Get ready to think outside the box! Your innovative approach will shape our comprehensive delivery plan, ensuring it's applicable across all business areas and contracts.
Championing ESG: Social value is more than a buzzword—it's our compass. You'll work closely with our Procurement team to integrate social value into every facet of our processes.
Progress Reporting: Keep our Executive Team and ESG Committee informed. Your updates will be crucial in driving our mission forward.
Leading The Foundation: As the head of our charity team, The Foundation, you'll provide strategic vision and steer our philanthropic efforts.
Support and Inclusion: You'll be a mentor, advisor, and advocate. Cultivate a culture of learning, growth, and diversity within our team.
In-Contract Excellence: Manage, integrate, and elevate all social value activities. Direct our "in-contract" social value managers to ensure our strategy thrives.
