We are pleased to offer and new and exciting opportunity to join the newly established Data Visualisation Team. Do you get a kick from solving complex problems with data? Are you looking for a design and development challenge? Do you have a creative flare? This may be the job for you.
Northamptonshire Police and Northamptonshire Fire and Rescue service, have a joint data, analysis, insight and visualisation function providing visual data tools and dashboards used in every day decision making.
The Data Visualisation Team focuses specifically on the design and development of these tools through the data visualisation platforms Qlik and PowerBi, providing expert guidance to colleagues within technical roles, shaping the future of Police and Fire data.
The Data Visualisation Analyst will be involved with multiple development projects end-to-end, starting with the conceptual and exploration stage, gathering requirements whilst learning the data behind Police and Fire departments. Analysts will then be expected to oversee the design and provide guidance to our colleagues in gathering necessary data. Finally, the Analyst will develop, test and deploy the product, supporting ongoing development and transformation of applications managed by the team. This is not only a new role, but an entirely new team, meaning plenty of opportunity to learn and immediately apply newly learnt skills.
