Additional Contract Period: 12 August - 4 October (KG TAR Event)

Overview:
NRL are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head Chef to join our client's team on a temporary contract at a petrochemical power station. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality, hygiene, and customer satisfaction. This role requires a professional who can work efficiently under time constraints and adapt to the unique environment of a petrochemical power station.

Key Responsibilities:

- Menu Planning and Preparation: Design and prepare balanced, nutritious meals that cater to diverse dietary requirements.
- Kitchen Management: Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth workflow and adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Team Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff, providing training, support, and motivation to maintain high performance levels.
- Inventory Control: Manage stock levels, order supplies, and minimize waste to ensure cost-effective operations.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain the highest standards of food hygiene and safety, complying with all relevant legislation and guidelines.

Requirements:

- Qualification: Minimum of Food Hygiene Level 2 certification.
- Experience: Proven experience as a Head Chef, preferably in a large-scale or industrial catering environment.
- Skills: Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills with the ability to work under pressure.
- Flexibility: Availability to work the specified contract periods and adjust to the demands of the power station environment.

Contract Details:

- Initial Period: 3 June to 19 July, Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 2:30 PM.
- Additional Period: Return from 12 August to 4 October for the KG TAR event.

Rates of Pay:

- Rates vary from £18.00 - £36.00 depending on hours worked.
