Care Coordinator

Up to £33280

Our Care Coordinator's have specific responsibility to contribute to the drive for excellence in the quality of work undertaken with children and young people. We are looking for someone who is passionate about working collaboratively to make a difference.

Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, flexible hybrid working.

Annual Leave: You will receive 33 days per annum; our holiday year runs from March to February.

Main Responsibilities

Reporting to our Operations Managers, as Care Coordinator your key responsibilities are to ensure that the day-today activities around the children and employees are recorded and that all casework monitoring systems are completed.

You will promote a culture of best interests and high aspirations for children through monitoring and support initiatives which may include:

• Updating and creating key documents outlined in the Children’s Home Regulations.

• Coaching and providing support to colleagues on quality and compliance within the homes.

• Supporting the writing of reports and monitoring documents.

• Oversight and production of monthly reports.

• Contribution to Reg 44 inspections and Reg 45 reporting.


Key qualities that we look for:

You will already have achieved your Level 3 Diploma or equivalent in Children and Young People’s Workforce or equivalent and have at least 3 years' experience in the Residential Children's Services sector. You will have experience of working with OFSTED and an understanding of all other regulatory bodies, frameworks, and assessment standards across the sector.

We are looking for people who:

• Are creative and passionate about working with children

• Are empathetic, authentic and emotionally intelligent to support the needs of the children in your care and the care colleagues around them.

• Can collaborate with and support the team to create an exceptional service

• Have previous experience of working with children who present with emotional or behavioural difficulties

• Understand the Children’s Home Regulations and Quality Standards and Ofsted SCCIF, and have expert understanding of Safeguarding and Reg 44

• Full UK driving licence and access to a car
