Summary

Come and join a progressive and expanding organisation who are investing in the local community as well as it’s people!

We have opportunities for Support Workers to join our established team at our Station Avenue Learning Disability Service in Duns on a variety of contracted hours ranging from 16 to 37.5 hours per week, hourly rate of pay: £12.60.

If you have a Driving Licence and are passionate about supporting people to live as independently as possible within their own homes and their local community, this job is for you.

Whether it is supporting people with their core needs, including personal care, helping with healthy meal planning, and cooking, attending social activities or a spot of gardening, no day is ever the same in social care, that is for sure!

You should ideally have (or be willing to work to achieve) an SVQ3 at SCQF Level 7 in Social Services and Healthcare. You will need good ICT skills and be able to use MS Office 365 as well as care, staff, and housing management software, with a positive approach to learn and use new tools as they become available. Most importantly you should be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of Eildon’s vision and values. We are looking to fill several varying shift patterns including waking nights, over 7 days, with individual requirements being discussed at interview stage.

In return Eildon offer a competitive reward package and a range of benefits. This role requires membership of the Disclosure Scotland PVG Scheme and SSSC Registration.

If you would like to discuss this opportunity further, please contact Leonie Lough, Station Avenue Co-ordinator on 07990 571381.

Our preference is for you to register and complete your application online. Once registered simply click on the 'Apply' button and complete the application form giving as much information as possible. If you wish to attach any supporting documents this can be done after submitting your application. If you have any issues with this, please contact the HR Team by email: HRTeam@eildon.org.uk or phone 01750 724050.
