Step Teachers are currently looking for a part-time PE Teacher for a brilliant opportunity based at a secondary school located in a small town in the High Suffolk area to work with all female class.

The school strives to equip its students with the skills and knowledge to be able to seize opportunities that life will present them with. The school looks forward to helping students realise what they might want to be later on in life and will support them as much as possible to achieve this.

As a PE Teacher, you will play a vital role in inspiring students to embrace an active and healthy lifestyle. Your passion for physical education, dedication to promoting sportsmanship, and commitment to student success will be highly valued and appreciated in our school community.

Your duties as a PE Teacher:

  • Strong Physical Education curriculum knowledge at KS3 & 4 PE Education
  • Upkeep a tidy, organised classroom with the safe use and storage of all equipment
  • Direct and support any additional staff in the classroom where applicable
  • Ability to assess and report on your students when required
  • Able to plan and deliver engaging, ranging lessons
  • Willingness to comply with the schools’ policies and implement them effectively

To be considered for the PE Teacher role you must:

  • Have recent mainstream school-based experience teaching PE at KS3/4 level
  • Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management
  • Hold a relevant PE or sports-related degree, is desirable.
