A highly interesting opportunity to join a company that have been trading over 40 years, providing you with stability, technically challenging work, in a team orientated environment. Working for a privately owned SME that creates bespoke engineering solutions for the vehicle market, you’ll have variation in your role, and a compressed working week (08:00 – 17:15 Mon – Thu and 08:00 – 13:00 Fri), 25 days plus BH for annual leave increasing with service, Life insurance, plus a variety of other benefits available on request.

We want to hear from candidates who have project engineering experience, from a manufacturing or engineering background that includes the automotive market. You’ll be pulling all the engineering activity into a deliverable action plan, and work closely with Project managers to advise them on all engineering matters in their project plan.

Day to day you will be translating customer requirements to deliverable engineering tasks, working with the PM to take the plan through to production. It’ll mean working closely with Design engineers and build teams to draw, plan and deliver manufactured products to the customer. You’ll get involved in design work, fault finding drawings, along with practical testing of parts & systems.

To be able to do the job, you’ll need to have or be able to gain SC security clearance, and have great communication skills, highly developed computer software skills and a high level of automotive engineering understanding - from the first concept drawing to final testing & handover to the customer you will be involved.

If you are a motivated and skilled Project Engineer who wants to join a technically diverse company then we’d love to hear from you.
