Join us as a Product Manager

  • You can expect great visibility for you and your work as you lead and hold accountability for the success and outcomes of our cross-functional teams
  • As an analytical thinker, you'll make sure appropriate data is collected to generate insights that'll be used to design and develop our products
  • This is an opportunity for you to make your mark on the future of the products and services we offer

What you'll do

We’re looking for a true leader who wants to take full ownership of their role. You’ll demonstrate this by delivering new and enhanced products across all categories, while keeping an eye on regulation and legislative requirements.

You'll be making sure product ways of working are being adopted and are continuously improved by your teams as part of the end-to-end product lifecycle, with time spent appropriately across discovery, delivery and measuring performance.

You’ll also be:

  • Managing a team of product owners and coaching them on best practices to maximise the impact of features that are developed
  • Working with your teams to understand and solve customer and user problems aligned with our vision and business objectives and key results
  • Creating successful products, and driving user engagement and adoption of features
  • Coordinating prioritisation sessions with your teams and stakeholders
  • Supporting wider Mettle teams, such as Operations and the Banking & Payments teams

The skills you'll need

You’ll already be a capable and experienced leader with knowledge of how to drive customer value and meet deadlines. Your communication skills need to be excellent and you’ll have a commitment to succeed in everything you do.

You'll be customer and metrics-driven with the ability to produce conclusive, measurable results. As well as this, you'll have experience in product leadership, preferably in financial services, and have great stakeholder management skills.

In addition, you’ll be expected to have:

  • High attention to detail, including the proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities
  • Excellent stakeholder relationship building and collaboration skills
  • Experience of leading successful consumer products from concept to adoption, with experience in all stages of the product life cycle
  • Technical knowledge to work closely with engineers and architects
