We are looking to appoint a band 3 Administrator who is a highly motivated individual to provide administrative support to Community Response Service
The post holder will provide a high quality, comprehensive administrative service to managers and clinical professions supporting the efficient running of the service.
Essential Criteria includes: Good standard of general education Knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes and email packages. The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team and at times working with limited or without supervision and have the ability to demonstrate initiative and prioritise workload under pressure. Exercise judgement and initiative in highly sensitive areas when problems arise by taking appropriate action to resolve the problems or referring to the appropriate person and have the ability to multi-task. Have an awareness of need for confidentiality in accordance with both the Data Protection Act and national / local guidelines and have experience undertaking admin duties.
This post will be based in the Care Point Admin Team at North Tyneside General Hospital this is a shared service with North Tyneside County Council, but the post holder may be required to work at other sites within the Trust.

• Ability to analyse administration systems, implement change as directed and evaluate effectiveness in order to promote quality services

• Be self-motivated and able to work with limited or without supervision within the Business Unit.

• Exercise sensitivity and tact when dealing directly with patients / family members particularly when dealing with highly emotional issues - analysing and resolving any problems
• Must be able to meet the travel requirements of the post
We manage three major locality hospitals at North Tyneside, Wansbeck and Hexham, plus a number of smaller community hospitals and clinics from Tynemouth to Berwick on Tweed, in addition to our state-of-the-art Northumbria Specialist Emergency Care Hospital, the first of its kind in England. The post holder will provide a high quality, comprehensive administrative service to Managers and clinical professions supporting the efficient running of the service. Duties will include acting as first point of contact for the service, inputting information into databases, booking meetings, processing mail, ordering office stock and assisting in the collection, completion and monitoring of monthly statistical information.
