Join Our Team as a Class 1 Driver in Solihull!
Location: Solihull, West Midlands
Start Date: Immediate starts available
Pay Rate: £15.79 to £23.69 per hour (PAYE - in-house payroll; with holiday pay accrued separately)
Shifts: 45 hours per week, flexible start times, occasional nights out, alternate weekends, and possible bank holidays
Contract Duration: Temporary until July 2024, with the possibility of extension for the right candidate
Additional Pay: Nights out paid at £40 per night.

Your Responsibilities:
- Delivering animal bedding (bales and loose shavings) to farms/poultry sites across the North and Midlands
- Collecting trailers and skips of wood by-products from mills and other sites - full training provided
- Liaising directly with customers and representing our client
- Working flexible hours within a 10-hour shift. Some nights out and weekend working will be required
- Operating/pulling trailers, skips, curtain siders, walking floors, Moffett etc - full training provided
- Liaising with Production Manager and Yard/Stores staff to support order fulfilment
- Completing all relevant checks & paperwork
What You Need:
- Valid C+E/LGV 1/HGV 1 Licence
- Valid CPC & digital tachograph card
- Experience of driving HGV Class 1 in rural areas is desirable
- Previous experience within a similar role
- No more than six points on your licence with no DD, CD, DR, IN, or TT codes accepted
- Excellent customer service skills
