About the CRM & Ticketing Officer role:

National Museums Scotland implemented Tessitura for Ticketing and Membership at the end of 2022 so this role is about driving forward the continued and deepening use of our CRM (Customer Relationship Management) & Ticketing System, Tessitura. It will have a tangible impact on the organisations ticketing approach and customer experience as we continue to refine our system use. The successful candidate will assist in bringing more departments on board, creating a consistent, high-quality, insightful experience for both stakeholders across the organisation, and customers. Through this, the role will also support the effective building of customer relationships and increase income generation.

As our CRM & Ticketing Officer at National Museums Scotland you will:


Be a CRM & Ticketing system super user and a first line of support and training for internal CRM system users
Identify, develop and implement improvements to the CRM & Ticketing system to ensure it supports the needs of users and customers across National Museums Scotland
Design and implement creative and innovative ways to drive income generation, including dynamic ticketing, cross- and up-selling opportunities and relationships with third party tickets agents.
Drive forward consistent customer data collection, good data hygiene, and reporting of customer data across the organisation
Identify, plan and write in-depth business intelligence reports and analytics dashboards and develop tools and training to give users self-service access to data via Tessitura’s systems for reporting and analysis.


Skills and experience we’re looking for in our CRM & Ticketing Officer:


Extensive knowledge and experience in a ticketing / CRM role
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with individuals at all levels of the organisation and with senior external stakeholders
Excellent attention to detail when working with large quantities of data
Ability to identify problems and provide creative and practical solutions
Ability to manage time including working to deadlines and managing the pressure of competing deadlines
