Summary
Haworth Scouring Company Ltd. is a well-established, successful commission processor of wool. The largest of its kind with modern wool scouring and wool combing equipment processing wools from around the world which are supplied to customers around the world.
The Bradford based business is planning a further expansion and is currently looking for committed, enthusiastic machine operatives to join our team in a fast paced production environment.
The Position
Bale Packer Machine Operatives required for shift work. Hours of work 6am-2pm and 2pm-10pm, rotating shifts Monday-Friday.
Role includes:
• Operating Bin Emptier with Pneumatic Conveyor to empty storage bins of clean wool and transfer to bale press to pack in to 350kg bales.
• Clipping quick-link wires and removing bales from press.
• The operator must weigh and label bales and record on computer system.
• Correctly label core test bags with bale range and bin number for each bin.
• Must be in constant communication with Tester and Foreman to ensure quality and keep pace with production targets.
Immediate start available.
Must be hardworking and reliable. Must be willing to work in a dirty, dusty and warm environment. This role involves standing for an 8 hour shift and some physical work on machines.
Successful applicants must be able to read and understand English (this will be tested) and have basic IT skills.
