A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF
I am a 16 year old girl living in the Barry area with my Family. I am a fulltime wheelchair user & I have Cerebral Palsy. I love to be around people and feed off their energy. I enjoy watching movies, Going to the shops & generally just being out and about.
PURPOSE OF JOB
I am looking to employ a Personal Assistant to support me to access the community.
Place of work
In and around the area of Barry
HOURS OF WORK
6 hours per week.
RATES OF PAY
£13.00 per hour including mileage where applicable
TASKS INVOLVED
Accompanying me when out and about
Support me in the community
Ensuring my safety is priority at all times
Exploring different things I may enjoy
Toileting support
TYPE OF PERSON REQUIRED
The Ideal person would be someone Fun, loving and bubbly. I enjoy watching movies, going to the shops and generally just being out and about.
Someone friendly and outgoing
Someone who is reliable and trustworthy
PA to be a sensible car driver, with own vehicle and business class insurance in place
Female due to toileting
Fun, loving, outgoing and bubbly
ABOUT THE JOB
Though a part-time job, this will be a proper job requiring a National Insurance number to be submitted. A trial period will be necessary in the first instance. The wage will be paid four weekly and appropriate holiday pay given.
The post is subject to satisfactory references and a DBS (Police) Check - which will need to be carried out before employment can commence. The cost of this will be met by the employer (Local Authority).
The relevant checks will be carried out to ensure any applicant has the right to work in the UK
