Healthcare Team - HMP Garth

The Healthcare Team have an exciting opportunity for 2x Band 3 Health Care Support Workers.

Are you looking for a challenging but rewarding role in our Health & Justice Health Care Team

The prison is based in Leyland, Lancashire and is easily accessible by public transport, Garth prison is a Male Category B prison within the long term high secure estate.

Greater Manchester Mental Health are the lead provider of Health care services into HMP Garth.

This is an exciting and dynamic role for the post holders who will be looking to expand their knowledge in health and justice services.

You must have been in the UK for 12 months prior to applying for this post and be able to provide a 6 year address history to be able to complete the prison clearance.

We are looking to recruit warm, compassionate, caring, hard working individuals to join our friendly, motivated and dynamic team at HMP Garth.

Health Care Support workers are valuable members of our multidisciplinary team supporting the Qualified Nurses and Medical staff in providing holistic care to patients in custody.

Applicants must possess good communication skills, have a pleasant personality and be committed to patient care.

The post holder will enjoy working within a busy, friendly and professional team.

Healthcare services operate 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, and the successful applicants would need to be flexible in their approach to meeting the demands of the service.
