We are looking for personal assistant to help a 76-year-old male who is looking for a assistance with his personal care 2x mornings per week (2 hour blocks) and afternoon assistance 2x afternoons per week to assist with toileting, transferring from bed to chair etc. when wife not present. Our client has a brain tumour and parkinsonism traits which means there is weakness in his legs causing mobility issues.
Ideally split days for afternoons ie Tues and Thurs but happy to be flexible. In the afternoons one weekend day preferred but again happy to discuss at the interview.
Your duties and responsibilities would include; social activity assistance, supervision to keep safe during activities and the suggestion of ideas for activities.
Applicants must have a caring attitude, be patient, be reliable with a positive and flexible approach to work.
This role requires membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme or a willingness to have a PVG Check Undertaken.
