The Community Team are pleased to announce this exciting new role at Havant Borough Council. As an ambitious and innovative team,
we aim to support the well-being of our communities through a number of creative initiatives. As a Health Partnerships Officer,
you will have a sound understanding of the council’s role and responsibilities in Integrated Care Systems and will use bold and
ambitious approaches to combat the borough's health challenges.



This role focuses on whole system working, collaborating with key health partners, the local community and voluntary sector to
co-design and deliver initiatives that address the health inequalities across the borough.



As a Health Partnerships Officer, you will work with a range of key partners across the public and community sector and will
liaise closely with other internal teams, recognising the influence the council’s service delivery has on the wider determinants
of health.



The role will require you to develop and maintain strong and positive relationships with health partners and through partnership
working deliver targeted interventions that are evidenced based, and insight led.



As a Health Partnerships Officer, you will initiate, manage and co-ordinate projects that use an asset-based community development
approach that promotes equity and increases people’s control over their own health and wellbeing.



The post requires somebody with exceptional communication skills and a proven track record of effective partnership working and
working on your own initiative.



You will be an enthusiastic and proactive person who has a sound understanding of the Health, Leisure, Sport or Physical Activity
industry.



This post has also received investment from Energise Me, a key partner and the post holder will be expected to co-ordinate the
delivery of the ‘We Can Be Active Strategy’ across Havant Borough.



You will hold a full clean driving licence and have access to your own vehicle for business use.



You will need to work to a hybrid working style, with a combination of remote/home working, office attendance and regular meetings
within the community. Therefore, you will need to be within a commutable distance of Havant.
