TeacherActive is honoured to be working with a SEND school whose specialism is ASD (Autistic spectrum disorder) to find a highly motivated, passionate and dedicated SEND Teacher who has excellent behaviour management skills, with the ability to manage confrontation and challenging behaviour.
The ideal candidate will be patient and understanding of the children’s needs and will be able to develop positive relationships with both the students, the staff and the parents. The school sets aspirational targets, not only in academic subjects but in other areas of development which are equally as important to their pupils; personal, social, and behavioural.
The successful SEND Teacher will have:
• The ability to create the best conditions for learning or teaching new things.
• Great communication skills.
• The ability to understand people’s reactions.
