About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Programmer to join our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for creating CNC machining programs using Mastercam, ensuring that production is cost-effective, timely, and meets the highest industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop CNC machining programs using Mastercam.
- Interpret dimensions from technical drawings accurately.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for production processes.
- Generate detailed part process documentation.
- Collaborate on establishing inspection criteria and addressing manufacturing issues.
- Recommend and implement process improvements.
- Work under tight deadlines to ensure timely delivery of worktops.
- Manage individual workload efficiently while also contributing effectively within a team.
- Maintain excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Keep the work area clean and maintain machinery and tools.
- Ensure adherence to safety standards and protocols.
Qualifications and Skills
- Strong proficiency in Mastercam and CAD/CAM programming.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in an engineering/ manufacturing environment.
- Ability to interpret and work from technical drawings and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to provide technical support.
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
- Commitment to maintaining a tidy and safe work area.
- Currently lives and has the right to work in the UK.
