Opportunity to shape a brand-new role in a global, fast-growing food business.
Here you’ll be leading the product development strategy and technical standards for a key global QSR customer. The role covers the UK & Europe, working with manufacturing sites, suppliers, and cross-functional teams.
You’ll be the customer’s key point of contact for the region, ensuring all product development, process and quality improvement projects are effectively delivered.
This high-profile role will support the customers’ strategic growth into Europe. You’ll work closely with the established global team, to fully absorb the strategy and vision. You’ll also work closely with all manufacturing sites to understand capabilities and support them in project delivery. It’s a wide-ranging role that requires strategic vision and being hands-on, operationally.
You’ll be supported by teams across R&D, Quality and Regulatory and work closely with Operations and Commercial colleagues. Building collaborative relationships, understanding different cultures and regional requirements will be key.
It’s a great time to join as the business continues to expand internationally. There’s huge scope for progression as it grows through driving strategic customer relationships and acquisitions.
To succeed in the role, you’ll need concept to launch experience within savoury ingredient applications and/or meat processing.
Ideally, you’ll have a Food Science background and understanding of QSR customer requirements. Experience working in a matrix structure in a role with an international remit.
The role will ideally be based in the Southeast and does require the flexibility to travel as required.
