Location: Woking

Hourly Rate: £15/hour PAYE (Umbrella options available)

Shifts: Starting on days for 6-8 weeks, then moving onto a night shift pattern

Hours: 37.5 / week (7.5 / day), with some overtime available - paid at a premium

Are you a Test Technician looking for a long term contract


Due to a large order book, this company are looking for an experienced Test Technician to join their growing Electronics team.


The role will run for the rest of 2024 and potentially into 2025.


***Please note, this role will initially start on day shifts, but will then transition into a night shift role.***


Test Technician Requirements:

  • Ideally you should have previous experience of testing using Automatic Test Equipment and basic fault finding experience as well.
  • Candidates will ideally be proficient in the use of electronic test and diagnostic equipment including oscilloscope, DVMs etc
  • You will also be experience in, and able to do other forms of testing such as functionality, continuity and mechanical testing.
  • You should be able to follow verbal instructions for testing and assembling pre-production assemblies
  • Ideally been trained to IPC-610 standards although full training will be given.
  • You must be willing to work night shifts for this role as well

Test Technician Responsibilities:

  • Daily testing of items from the production departments, according to customer specs
  • Regular completion of test paperwork for auditing purposes
  • Candidates will be required to use various pieces of Automatic Test Equipment to test various PCB's, Electronic Units and Computers
  • Identifying improvements to current procedures and detailing them for future implementation
  • Repair and maintain test equipment
