Are you a caring and compassionate Teaching Assistant looking for a new role and wanting to make a real difference to the lives of children with special educational needs? We are currently recruiting for an SEN Teaching Assistant to work within an OFSTED rated 'good' school in Malvern.

Supporting two pupils in KS2, your responsibilties will include ensuring engagement in class sessions, and adapting and modifying learning activities (under direction and supervision of the class teacher).

As part of your role, you will be asked to assess and report on development, progress and attainment. Supporting both pupils with their social and emotional wellbeing, reporting any concerns to the class teacher will be a priority.

Previous experience of working with pupils with SEN, and undertanding pupil behaviour is preferred. The school are looking for the right individual to commit to a long-term position to ensure consistency for the children. Starting as soon as possible and continuing until at least the end of the academic year.

Required Skills and Experience for this SEN Teaching Assistant role:
⦁ Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent
⦁ Experience of working with children with SEN (either gained from personal or professional experience)
⦁ Committed to a long-term role
⦁ Behaviour management experience
⦁ DBS on the update service or issued within the last 12 months or willing to make a new DBS application
