Crynodeb
A Teaching Assistant is required to work in a primary school based in Castle Vale. This is a long-term opportunity and is a wonderful school which delivers a values based curriculum that inspires and challenges all children academically whilst focusing on developing their independence.
The TA will be based in the SEN Resource Base working with pupils who have EHCPs and have been diagnosed with either autism or speech and language difficulties.
This role will start ASAP and will continue until at least the end of the academic year. The position is full time, Monday to Friday.
Required Skills and Experience for this Teaching Assistant role:
- Experience working in schools in the UK is essential. Please do not apply if you do not have experience working in a UK school.
- Minimum Level 3 qualification
- Experience supporting children with SEN is preferred (can be from personal or professional experience)
- Effectively manage the behaviour and engagement of the children (training can be provided)
- Supporting with learning and development
- Working closely with the class teacher
- Commitment to the role to ensure consistency for the pupils
