Our client is looking for a Wedding and Events Sales Office Manager to develop and maintain a successful portfolio and range of service offerings to new and existing customers. You will work with the Marketing team to agree annual promotions and campaigns to drive business and manage Country House sales, weddings, and events co-ordination through customer relationship management until handover to the Operations team.

Key Responsibilities – Wedding and Events Sales Office Manager

• To promote and develop new and existing business prospects
• To manage sales, weddings and events co-ordination through customer relationship management until handover to Operations.
• To develop new and maintain existing customers and maintain the customers sales database including tracking enquiries and provisional bookings and following up in accordance with deadlines
• To manage sales enquiries and convert into contracted bookings by generating proposals and following up with clients through effective communication
• To develop and implement the sales strategies ensuring a targeted and measurable contribution to monthly sales revenue targets and by optimising the letting capacity and yield
• To contribute to the overall revenue forecast by providing data at forecast meetings and by managing the annual sales budget
• To assist in developing the marketing plan for the business including its events, weddings and services
• To organise (in conjunction with Marketing) and attend, as required, external exhibitions, trade shows, conferences and networking and industry events to promote the Services and develop new contacts/sales leads

Qualifications & Requirements – Wedding and Events Sales Office Manager

• Experience in working in sales roles in the hospitality sector.
• A proven track record in sales and working to targets.
• Strong communication skills – able to work with people at all levels both verbally and in writing.
• Events Experience essential
• Knowledge of using social media to promote sales enquiries and of CRM systems
• Flexibility with working hours
