Randstad C&P are currently recuriting for a Site Manager to join a multi-discplinary contractor based in Bristol. The role is due to commence ASAP and has arisen due to various project wins within the area! The contractor are seeking a dynamic, enthusiastic manager to join the company and make their mark on various projects within the region. The role offers a good salary, clear progression and a strong package.

The contractor pride themselves on delivering exceptional construction projects across various sectors, including, commercial, education and industrial. With a robust portfolio and a reputation for project excellence, the contractor are seeking someone with comprehensive experience who can assist in the delivery of several projects that they currently have. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to manage complex construction projects from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee day-to-day operations on the construction site.
  • Coordinate and supervise all site activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Manage subcontractors and site personnel, fostering a collaborative and productive working environment.
  • Monitor project progress, prepare reports, and maintain detailed documentation.
  • Address and resolve any issues or challenges that arise on site.
  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with project specifications and contractual agreements.
  • Implement and enforce health and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager in the construction industry, with a background delivering commercial projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, methods, and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and technical drawings.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools.
  • Relevant certifications in construction management or related fields are essential (CSCS, SMSTS etc).
  • A valid drivers license and the ability to travel to various project sites as required.
