Summary

The Sales Administrator will be responsible for providing administrative support to the sales team, managing sales order processing, maintaining customer records, and facilitating communication between the sales department and other internal departments. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the sales team with administrative tasks such as preparing sales reports, proposals, and presentations.
Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for sales personnel.
Respond to customer inquiries and provide product information as needed.
Process sales orders accurately and in a timely manner.
Ensure that all necessary documentation is completed and filed appropriately.
Track the status of orders and update customers and the sales team on delivery schedules.
Handle customer complaints and provide appropriate solutions or escalate issues to the relevant department.
Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
Prepare regular sales reports, including sales forecasts, performance metrics, and customer feedback.
Maintain records of sales contracts, agreements, and other relevant documents.
Assist in the preparation and distribution of sales materials and promotional content.
Liaise with other departments such as marketing, finance, and logistics to ensure smooth order fulfilment and customer satisfaction.
Communicate effectively with team members, management, and external clients.
Perform general office duties such as filing, photocopying, and maintaining office supplies.
Manage and update sales-related software and tools.
Proven experience in a sales support or administrative role.
Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
