Charnwood Borough Council in Leicestershire is searching for the latest member of #TeamCBC!
We are looking for a dynamic and customer focused Project Surveyor to join our Repairs and Investment Team in Landlord Services.
Reporting to the Project Building Surveying Team Leader you will play a lead role in the successful management of specific capital works programmes under this and other contracts to improve our housing stock of over 5700+ properties.
With the ability to successfully work in partnership, you will ensure that our objectives around high quality, communication, and customer care are delivered in line with agreed budgets, and that key performance indicators are met.
The role requires candidates to demonstrate a detailed knowledge of building construction methods and materials sufficient to identify and diagnose defects and arrive at appropriate solutions.
A HNC in construction or an equivalent qualification in a construction / trade related discipline is required, along with a full driving licence and use of a vehicle (an essential car user allowance will be paid).
The role is subject to a satisfactory DBS check.
