Your new company
This is a large, internationally spread company that designs, manufactures and sells commercial vehicles across the UK and Europe. The company has a highly experienced finance team, and this role is pivotal in their financial and ESG reporting across the UK and further. They are known for being a market-leader in their field and have an excellent, collaborative working culture. This role reports into a supportive Head of Financial Reporting.

Your new role
As an Internal Controls Manager, you will be a highly experienced and qualified member of the finance team, taking the lead on all aspects of reporting for the business. Requirements for the role include:

  • Completion of quarterly and annual Internal Control reporting requirements for the group and co-ordination and review of SOX and Internal Control audit programmes.
  • Oversee Implementation and improvement of company internal control, financial and compliance audit programmes.
  • Liaison and coordination of activities with internal and external auditors, whilst supporting the Compliance Officer in the delivery and review of the compliance programme.
  • Coordination of Corporate Sustainability Reporting (including CSRD and ESOS).
  • Support the Finance Department with ad-hoc activities as required.


What you'll need to succeed
In order to be considered for this role, you will:

  • Be a fully qualified accountant with a well-rounded financial background from industry.
  • Knowledge and understanding of SOX reporting with experience of this within industry, ideally from a group function.
  • Be a strong written and verbal communicator and able to deliver complex information effectively to stakeholders.
  • Have a good understanding of new and upcoming reporting legislation.


What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary of £55,000 to £70,000 for this role, which is dependent on your academics and experience within this area, along with 25 days' holiday (plus bank), a good pension contribution, opportunities for further qualifications, and the opportunity to earn extra days of holiday from overtime work.
