Business Administration Support Work Placement
Supported by funding from the Argyll & Bute UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF)


Department: SAMS Enterprise (business/commercial)
Hours of work: 30 hours per week
Rate of pay: £12.00 per hour
Work Pattern: Monday to Friday (we can be flexible on working days/patterns)
Work location: SAMS site, Dunbeg, by Oban
Duration: 26 weeks
Closing date: 14th June 2024


Purpose:

- Provide general administrative support to SAMS Enterprise team, assisting across areas such as: answering telephone calls and in-person enquiries, preparing outgoing mail, distributing incoming mail, provide support for meetings, maintaining spreadsheets/databases.
- There will be opportunities to learn from administrators, business graduates and experienced consultants. There may be opportunities to job shadow or participate in supporting some of these activity areas, where required.
- Upskill, learn and develop competence across a number of business administrative activity areas.
- Fully engage with the placement to maximise your experience with us and to support your future career choices.

Please Note: This opportunity is only open to unemployed residents of Argyll & Bute.
