Summary

Responsible to: Directors of EVJ

Responsible for: Staff and Service Users within EVJ

Job Purpose: Making sure that EVJ Healthcare Ltd meets the high standards of care within its own set of ideals and principles as well as meeting the expectations and guidelines of the placing authorities and inspectorates.


Key responsibilities:

Main

1. Complete pre assessment and arrange provision of domiciliary care for new clients
2. Market and attract new clients and increase the number of clients
3. Achieve care at home contract with local authority and local ICB
4. Work towards growing business financially by increasing the number of clients
5. Undertake and document regular team meetings and service user meetings and take action on any outcomes.
6. Take responsibility for the budgets of EVJ
7. Manage staff by ensuring their roster is planned in advance, trained and monitor their performance all the time.
8. Prepare for and represent the company at CQC inspections.
9. To carry out remedial actions against inspection through the production of a Quality Improvement Plan.
10. Promote Equality and Diversity.
11. Ensure that service users’ care and welfare needs are assessed and met in full.
12. Compile and implement Care Plans, Risk Assessments, Behaviour support plans, or any other documentation relevant to the service users within your care.
13. Ensure that all documentation regarding day to day management is in place, as laid down in CQC requirements and National Minimum Standards.
14. Provide appropriate support with ordering and administering medication.
15. Attend and contribute towards annual reviews regarding the service users within your care.
16. Create the necessary reports in relation to your service users within your care.
17. Provide effective supervision and support for the staff team.
18. Liaise with other agencies involved with the service users to ensure the provision is integrated
19. Ensure that Health and Safety requirements are met in full in line with company policies.
20. Maintain a pro-active safeguarding/protection policy and react to situations according to the regulations.


Management Team

21. Report on progress, achievement and challenges to the directors
22. Contribute to the development and review of all policies, procedures and documents stated in the Quality Improvement Plan.
