A delightful family in Islington, London, is seeking a full-time Nanny Housekeeper to care for their two children and maintain their home. They are looking for an energetic and dedicated individual to become part of their family. The ideal candidate will collaborate with the mother and another nanny. One of the children has autism, and while formal training is not required, they need someone who is compassionate, warm, and understanding. This child has his own nanny 90% of the time and a tutor who visits daily. Although the role is primarily housekeeping, additional childcare duties may be needed during holidays. The position is open to individuals without formal nanny experience, provided they are confident and enjoy working with children. Cooking skills are a bonus but not essential. A driving licence would be advantageous but is not required. The family offers extra pay for candidates with PA/household management experience, even if they lack childcare experience, as long as they are enthusiastic about working with children and have relevant personal experience.
Working hours: Monday - Friday 8 am - 5 pm (Flexibility is a must)
Duties:
assisting with bath time routine,
dressing the children,
feeding them,
cleaning them up after every meal,
taking them to playdates,
preparing various age-appropriate activities,
playing with them,
helping the other children with homework,
making sure they are always happy and safe,
changing nappies and helping the little one with potty/toilet training,
teaching general life skills, such as basic hygiene and manners
take care of the household,
cooking for the family,
making sure the toilet and bathroom are clean,
doing the grocery shopping and errands,
organising cupboards and changing bedsheets.
A Full-time Nanny Housekeeper must have a valid first aid qualification. They are looking for someone to start as soon as possible.
