Successful candidates will be expected to compose electronic discharge amongst other extended roles affiliated with the four pillars of advanced practice.
Experience in the role and a completed nurse prescribers course is an advantage although some further training will be available. If training is required the candidate would commence on a band 6, when training completed would be uplifted to band 7.
We currently have thirteen Nurse Practitioners in post but are looking to further develop and expand our current team. We have a comprehensive training programme with a three month supernumerary period.
The post holders work long days and cover weekends but do not cover night duties so if you are looking for a new and exciting challenge as well as a new development to your existing nursing practice please apply.
