We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Site Engineer to join our Smart Motorways project team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing construction activities, ensuring compliance with design specifications, and maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Interpret project plans, specifications, and blueprints to provide clear instructions to site teams.
- Monitor project progress, conduct regular inspections, and ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Liaise with project managers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow.
- Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure the highest standards of workmanship.
- Assist in the preparation and submission of progress reports, as-built drawings, and other project documentation.
- Identify and resolve any technical issues or challenges that arise during the construction phase.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Site Engineer, preferably on large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of smart motorways technology and construction methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Proficiency in using engineering software and tools (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project).
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel to various project sites.
