Summary

Primary Teaching Assistant

Location: Northampton (NN13)

Salary: £90-£100 per day

Hours of Work: 35 hours per week

Start Date: Immediate

We are lookinbg for a Primary Teaching Assistant to join a school located in the heart of Northampton. Essential experience in a school setting is required, with additional experience working with SEND pupils considered advantageous.

Requirements:
- Possess experience working with young people.
- Demonstrate excellent organisational skills and effective communication abilities.
- Show a passion for working with, inspiring, and supporting children.
- Exhibit strong behaviour management skills.
- Have experience supporting children with additional needs (desirable but not essential).
- Be able to provide school or teaching references.

Responsibilities:
- Assisting the class teacher and other teaching assistants in the daily classroom activities.
- Supporting children during lessons and school activities.
- Assisting staff and children during lunch and break times.
- Managing challenging behaviours effectively.
- Delivering 1:1 or small group activities.
- Documenting evidence of children's work to aid in their assessment.
