An exciting opportunity has arisen within the developing Medical Research Unit. We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic individual as a Senior Trial Coordinator or Senior Clinical Research Practitioner.
Working as part of a multi-disciplinary research team, the Senior Trial Coordinatoror Senior Clinical Research Practitionerwill be accountable for the assessment, planning, organisation, and ongoing care of research participants according to the study protocol.
The work requires initiative, accuracy, and attention to detail.
You will be in contact with a broad professional group, as well as members of the public and research sponsors therefore excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills will be of equal importance.
The post holder will be a flexible, motivated team player and will have a good understanding of clinical trials, research generally, and the role of a trial coordinator.
The post holder will deputise for the Clinical Research Unit Managers and become involved in the line management, support, and training of staff as well as more complex trial developments.
The Senior Trial Coordinator or Senior Clinical Research Practitioner will be an integral part of the research team, supporting the development of a seamless research facility within the Medical Division.
The post holder will be expected to work closely with all members of the research team and multidisciplinary team within the hospital. In liaison with the Research Unit Manager, they will provide trial management and coordination.
The post holder will be involved in all aspects of trial coordination and management supporting the clinical team throughout the trial process.
