Summary

Your new company


A technical consulting firm who are based in London and operate UK wide, specialising in the water and environmental sectors of engineering they frequently provide specialist expertise on drainage, water resources and flooding issues. They also have a multi-disciplinary team of professionals across hydrology, EIA, hydrogeology, air quality, permitting and more.They support planning applications for a variety of projects, from small-scale single house developments to large-scale business parks and residential estates.

Your new role


You will provide high end technical support on varying Flood Risk issues with duties including but limited to…

  • Flood Risk Assessments
  • Hydraulic modelling
  • Detailed drainage design
  • Client liaising and delivery of projects
  • Project management
  • Supporting junior members of the team
  • Perform site visits (occasionally)



What you'll need to succeed


  • A degree in Environmental Science or Environmental Water related field
  • Previous experience as a Flood Risk Consultant
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Working knowledge of flood risk or drainage modelling software (ideal)
  • Experience with modelling software in relation to drainage design / flood risk (ideal)
  • Knowledge of UK building regulations (ideal)
