This engineering consultancy are a dynamic and rapidly growing company specializing in flood risk, water, and environmental consulting. Led by an industry-recognized team of 15 , they are expanding their flood risk and modelling team due to their success and recent project wins.

You’ll work on a diverse project portfolio, including private sector and major infrastructure projects, with opportunities for international work.

Qualifications and Experience

- A degree (or higher) in Geography, Environmental Management, or Engineering.
- Approximately 2-3 years of industry experience with a strong technical background.
- Proficiency in UK-recognized flood modelling software (e.g., Flood Modeller, ESTRY, TuFLOW).
- Experience in hydrological assessments using WINFAP, ReFH2, and FEH statistical methods.
- Familiarity with both 1D and 2D modelling methods for various project scales.

Duties/Responsibilities

- Writing clear, concise, and technically accurate modelling reports.
- Conducting hydrological analyses using WINFAP/ReFH or other methods.
- Developing hydraulic models from surveys and reviewing third-party models for accuracy.
- Translating complex modelling outputs into accessible information to support client objectives (e.g., planning, flood alleviation).
