Your new company
My client, based in the heart of Darlington in smart modern offices, is one of the UK's leaders in their field.
They are looking for a Treasury Assistant to join their Finance team and support their treasury activities.
Your new role
You will be responsible for:-
- Processing treasury payments
- Processing sales receipts - coding them correctly
- Preparing banking journals
- Petty cash
- Assist with bank reconciliations
- Assist with cash flow forecasting.
- Generating daily "snap shot" reports
- Query resolution
- Assisting with developing improved policies and procedures
What you'll need to succeed
Prior treasury based experience is essential, ideally experience of working within a Treasury team, or of high volume bank reconciliations and banking journals.
Ideally you will be confident in the use of Excel and integrated accounting software.
