The Upper Limb Clinical Specialistis responsible forthe care of shoulder,elbowand hand musculoskeletal issues across East Berkshire. Within this part-time role (18.75 hours, 0.5 WTE), you will have a mix of clinical andnon-clinicaltime that enables you to further your clinical, leadership,educationand research skills. As the “go to” for upper limb clinical queries and complex cases, you will contribute to our comprehensive teaching and supervision plan. Working as part of a larger network, you can collaborate with your clinical specialist colleagues and our quality improvement, clinical audit and research teams to design,leadand complete projects with access to training and mentoring to support your aims.You will lead clinicalsupervisionand this will be arranged on a 6 monthly cycle where you will rotate around East Berkshire (Slough, Windsor and Maidenhead, Bracknell).

You will understand the importance of clinical governance and have experience withauditto guide training needs, design protocols and deliver high quality care across multiple sites. You will be able to deliver outstanding supervision and education to bring the best out of our ambitious team. To complement the social aspect of this role and our growing opportunities for funding and research, you will also have excellent interpersonal, presentation and networking skills.
