Overview:
A prominent construction company is looking for a hardworking and reliable Labourer to join their team on the Isle of Grain. This role is fundamental in supporting various construction activities, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and safely. The ideal candidate will hold a valid CSCS card and possess a driving license.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general labouring duties on construction sites, including site preparation, material handling, and clean-up.
- Assist skilled tradespeople as needed, providing support with tools and materials.
- Ensure all work is carried out following health and safety regulations.
- Drive to and from sites or between locations as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow instructions from site supervisors and collaborate with team members to meet project goals.
Requirements:
- Valid Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card.
- Valid driving license.
- Previous experience in labouring on construction sites is preferred.
- Strong understanding of health and safety practices.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions.
- Physical stamina and the ability to perform manual labour tasks.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional construction-related certifications or training.
- Experience in using hand and power tools.
