TJX Europe (TK Maxx & Homesense) have a new Logistics Apprenticeship Programme which will let you experience all sides of our Distribution network. Working in the Logistics Team, you’ll be part of a function whose purpose is to ‘enable the efficient flow of goods’ from our vendors to our stores. Upon successful completion of the programme, you’ll gain a Supply Chain Practitioner Level 3 standard qualification.

At TJX we want YOU, we are offering you the opportunity to join us as a Logistics Apprentice. As part of the Distribution function in our European Head Office in Watford, you’ll be part of a friendly, fast-paced, energetic and diverse team.

Your studies will be supported by SR Apprenticeships, a leading national training provider specialising in Apprenticeship training across a range of Professional services and Supply Chain & Logistics sectors. By the end of the programme, you will gain a Supply Chain Practitioner Level 3 standard qualification.

Working in the Logistics Team, whose purpose is to ‘enable the efficient flow of goods’ from our vendors to our stores, you’ll be part of our new Logistics Apprenticeship Programme, which will provide you with a broad range of opportunities to experience all sides of our distribution network. This will include Logistics Operations, International Logistics and Customs, Data and Analytics, Supply Chain Partnerships and Technology and Engineering teams. You’ll work alongside and support lots of internal and external stakeholders including our Processing Centres, Buying Operations teams, external vendors and 3rd Party Logistics.

Our apprenticeship Programme takes approximately 18-24 months to complete. Not only will you get to experience Retail in real time you’ll develop the skills and behaviours required to be successful on the Apprenticeship and in your role. You’ll be coached and mentored throughout our programme and will acquire new knowledge and skills through a blend of classroom and off-the-job learning. By the time you’ve finished, you’ll be ready to take on a role within the function or explore other roles with the business.

What you’ll need
• To have passed five GCSEs (grade 4 and above / minimum grade C or equivalent) or have completed a Level 2 apprenticeship.
• Be driven and motivated
• Flexible with a positive ‘can do’ attitude
• Enthusiastic & passionate.
• Curiosity and openness to learn
• To be a team player with great relationship building skills
• Ability to multitask in a high volume and fast-paced environment and self-manage daily tasks with several constantly changing priorities.
• Good communication skills
• Committed, reliable with excellent attention to detail
• PowerPoint, Word, Excel experience

Apprenticeship qualification:
Supply Chain Practitioner Level 3
Apprenticeship programme duration:
18-24 months

Hourly wage (must exceed Apprentice Minimum Wage):
£22,500 Hours & Days of work:
Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours
