Crynodeb
In this role, you will operate joinery machinery within a workshop environment and team of seven Joinery Fabricators. The Joinery Workshop, at our Perth Head Office, produces a high volume of finishing materials to ship to site, in service of Sidey’s various contract requirements.
DAILY DUTIES -
• Safely handle material from storage facility to work bench.
• Prepare and maintain a working area, ensuring safe environment for yourself and fellow workmates.
• Check materials, and calculate quantities required.
• Cut and package materials.
• Palletise materials ready for collection.
• Assist in unloading and loading of vehicles as required.
• Tidy working area internally & externally.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS -
• Good physical health
• Punctual, polite & professional
• Strong attention to detail
• Good math and logical thinking skills
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Good at working with your hands.
• Be prepared to work some overtime if and when needs arise.
GOOD TO HAVE (NOT ESSENTIAL) -
• Joinery machinery / hand tool experience.
• Previous experience in a Joinery workshop environment.
• Driving licence
• Forklift experience
