This role supervises the site quality assurance team to ensure day-to-day check of the food safety hygiene particularly for Persian and Turkish dried fruits which carries) safety quality, compliance with global food safety legislation, port health regulations, achieve highest grade possible in all internal and external audits.
Monitoring and training the team to increase knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and quality. Interval food tests, in terms of allergens, risk assessment. Know how to reduce and minimise risk of aflatoxin within Persian and Turkish oriental dried fruits such Pistachios , peanuts , walnuts, hazelnuts, etc , to attend food consignment upon arrival to perform quality survey.
The candidate should be able to implement the survey of the food consignment at the frontier, in order to make sure health and safety standard is complied with UK health requirements.
Requirements:
- At least 3 years’ experience in relevant job
- Bachelor degree
- Good knowledge of English and Persian languages
- Be able to recognize Persian and/or Mediterranean recipes
- Fully understand of BRCGS, HACCP standards
- Strong team management and organisational skills
