We are recruiting fora Deputy Sister / Charge Nurse who wishes to join #TeamIOWNHS. You should share our passion and drive to ensure that our patients receive quality and compassionate care and work with us to ensure the Trust continues its journey towards “great people, great place”.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Registered Nurse to enhance our forward-thinking teams on Level C, Alverstone and Luccombe as the Deputy Sister/Charge Nurse.
We are looking for someone who is well organised with a professional and approachable manner and that has excellent communication skills. You should be able to use your own judgement to resolve issues, have a tactful, sensitive approach to people and have excellent team working skills.
You need to be able to perform well under pressure with a flexible approach to your shift pattern as it will include a mixture of days and nights alongside the other deputy sisters/charge nurses.
The successful applicant must have an interest in orthopaedics, trauma and general surgery, must be hard working, motivated, enthusiastic, and reliable.
The post involves working with all members of the multi-disciplinary team and you will need to be organised, dynamic and able to prioritise your workload and lead junior members of the team. You will also be required to deputise for the ward sister in her absence.
