JOB SUMMARY AND PURPOSE



The Commercial Coordinator at Health Innovation East plays a crucial role in supporting the Commercial team to execute innovation
projects that aim to benefit patients and staff in the region. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders and
engaging with our extensive network, as well as providing vital administrative support for the commercial team. They will support
OLS events (Clinical Innovator Forum and Insights to Impact) and Horizon Scans. Additionally, they will help with the organising
of Commercial Workshops, creating agendas, conducting research for preparatory materials, and other related tasks.






KEY RESPONSIBILITIES



* Providing administrative assistance for commercial team events and workshops
* Supporting communications and event activities related to relevant programmes of work.
* Collaborating with the wider team to maintain an updated events calendar
* Leading on the organisation of our Innovation Review Panel, including sending out invitations, arranging pre-read materials,
and working on feedback documents
* Support to engage and maintain the innovation pipeline
* Assist the commercial team in preparing business development quotes, proposals, and contracts
* Collaborate with communications, finance, and other departments to ensure seamless coordination
* Actively participate in meetings
* Operating within a strict reporting timeframe, adhering to regular monthly deadlines
* Taking the lead in inputting data into our reporting systems and ensuring deadlines are met for our quarterly and monthly
reporting systems. (Access database, QART, MDS/Local Programmes, Programme Board etc.)
* Monitoring and managing the commercial team's innovator enquiries inbox.
* Providing additional ad hoc administrative support as requested by the Commercial Director and other team members.

Qualifications and

* GSCE or equivalent experience
* Evidence of continued professional development
* Evidence of project administration and support



Knowledge

* Familiarity with commercial processes and procedures (desirable).
* Basic understanding of the healthcare sector (desirable).

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder liaison.

Experience





* Previous experience in project coordination or similar roles.
* Experience in drafting briefing papers, reports and correspondence
* Experience of coordinating projects
* Experience of setting up and implementing internal processes and procedures
* Experience of supporting events
* Previous experience in the healthcare sector (desirable).
* Networking and relationship-building experience within relevant industries (desirable).

Key relationships
