Personal Care Assistant – 26 hours per week – £ 13.42 per hourAn opportunity exists to join an existing team of carers providing care and support to my client who lives independently in her own home with 24/7 support.Duties to include : will include showering and personal care; administering medication; driving to outdoor activities and any appointments; supporting client to get out and about in the community; working alongside other members of staff; keeping daily diaries; doing activities within her home; keeping the workplace tidy.Our client has some challenging behaviour, which is reflected in the higher than usual hourly rate of £13.42. Any overnight shift to be paid as a lump sum of £70.00An understanding of special needs and experience working in a care setting would be an advantageHours of work :Weekend 1 : Saturday 12pm to 5pmWeekend 2 : Saturday 12pm to 10 pm – sleepover - Sunday 7 am to 6pmAlso, the successful candidate will provide holiday & sickness cover when required.Driver’s licence and own transport essential.

The succesful candidate will require an enhanced DBS - the cost of this will be covered by the employer.
