A Vacancy at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Clinical Fellow post (ST3 or above level) within the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Specialty at Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
The post is a 12-month fixed term contract. Lancashire Teaching Hospital is a large teaching hospital closely linked with the University of Manchester. The successful candidate will contribute to the on-call rota for both Obstetrics and Gynaecology. The post is ideal for candidates who wish to gain experience and training in the specialty, whilst broadening their skills prior to application to specialty training. This is a full-time post, however applications from candidates seeking a part time post will be considered.
Prior experience in obstetrics and gynaecology is essential for this post. The successful candidate will contribute to the 2nd on call rota.
The post is to work as a Senior Clinical Fellow (ST 3-4 equivalent) within the Department of Obstetrics and Gynaecology currently on a full shift system. The appointee will be responsible to the Consultant/s to whom they are attached. There is a dedicated directorate training lead to support educational and pastoral needs for locally employed doctors.
