Acorn by Synergie is currently looking to recruit Refuse and Recycling Loaders to join their client in Caldicott, Monmouthshire.
Your main responsibility will be to undertake the removal of refuse and recycled material from households and industrial and commercial premises. This will involve the handling of a full range of containers such as bags, sacks, bins, boxes, or loose material. Working within a team.
Further responsibilities:
* To remove and clean up any spillages of waste created on the round or in areas of the collection as directed by a member of the supervision team.
* To assist the driver in safe manoeuvring of the vehicle on the round or at the disposal / recycling location.
* To attend any relevant training courses and cooperate with any health and safety inspections or monitoring processes
* To assist with the promotion of recycling services, including the wearing of any safety and promotional material designated to that service.
* To undertake as and when required any labouring duty associated with the Neighbourhood Services team
* To adhere to Health and Safety legislation, policies and procedures and to take reasonable care for the health and safety of yourself and other persons who may be adversely affected by your acts / omissions
* To report without delay any safeguarding concerns to the appropriate safeguarding officer
Full UK Driving Licence would be an advantage for this role.
