**Female Personal Assistant / Carer**

Team of 2 Carers, female only in the Wilmslow, SK9 area. Experience with adults with Down syndrome is essential. Full UK drivers license. Client takes no medication and goes to an adult college by taxi 4 times a week. The role is not demanding as client is independent mostly throughout the day.



**Hours and rate of Pay**

£14.00 per hour

8am 10pm must be able to commit to at least half of that daily to share the load across two Carers.

Night sits maybe required (rate to be discussed) bedroom provided with en-suite.



**Main Duties**

To make Client comfortable and to develop a relationship with PAs.

Very sociable and enjoys getting to know new people.

Full UK drivers license.

To carry out personal care: - Toilet care - Teeth brushing - Assistance with shower. client can shower himself, but we would prefer someone who is comfortable to keep on top of his hygiene as he does not shower thoroughly on his own.

Someone with active mindset, park walks/shopping trips.

This role will not be demanding as client is independent mostly throughout the day, spending time playing in his room/watching TV/iPad.



**Personal Assistant Specification**

Experience with adults with Down syndrome is essential.

My assistant must be enthusiastic and flexible with a caring disposition.

You must be able to work well independently.

My personal assistant is accountable to me in all aspects of their work. They should always ask what my needs are and listen to my directions and requests.

The post is subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure which will be funded through your employer.
