Hours: 42hrs contract - 12 hours working shift days, nights and weekends.
Hourly Rate: £14.12 per hour

Main Duties
-
-About the Role:
-Delivering excellent customer service
-Good level of concentration and coordinating
-Good communication skills and effective report writing capabilities
-Physical protection of the Bank from any external or internal threats and preservation of life
-Prevention of loss of assets, critical technology, sensitive information or reputational damage
-Thorough knowledge of the Bank to minimise impact to business areas, escalate where appropriate and understanding of Bank critical systems
-Oversee perimeter access through reception for staff, tenants, contractors, visitors and vehicles.
-Undertaking patrolling, searching and emergency response procedures.
-Always remain vigilant to safeguard the security of all personnel and assets within each DB premises.
-Deal with the client and the client's staff in a professional, effective and customer engaging manner.
-At all times ensure that the building(s) under your care is well presented, clean and tidy, in good repair and condition by way of reporting maintenance issues as required.
-Respond to emergency situations and assist with emergency building evacuations when necessary.
-Ensure that the logbooks for each building(s) under your care are present, completed and up to date by way of daily checks / post visits and sign each book to confirm this.
-Maintain clear, concise radio and telephone communication to colleagues always.
-Provide first aid if required when responding to an emergency medical situation.
-Remain alert to local events which potentially impact business operations.

What we are looking for
-Proven experience as a Security Officer in related roles.
-Valid Security Licence (SG or DS).
-Valid First Aid Certificate (EFAW or FAW).
-Strong Observational Skills and Security Situational Awareness.
-Excellent Communication Skills.
-Physically fit and capable of standing and walking for extend periods.
-Basic Computer Skills.
-Flexibility to Work
-Various Shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
-DBS Check.
